Flighting
Heavy 7 gauge flighting is stretch-mounted on 3” x 11 gauge steel tubing.
Optional Flex Spouts
Poly or Galvanized, are available to direct grain flow, reduce spillage.
Undercarriage
Made of strong 4” x 10 gauge steel tubing (3” on 41’) and wide heavy axle. Reinforced for added strength with additional x-bracing on 51’ to 71’ models.
Driveshaft
Solid Steel 1 1/2” drive shaft (1 1/4” on 41') runs in oil impregnated hardwood bearings for long, quiet operation. Easily replaced if necessary.
Winch (41')
The 41’ auger is equipped with a 25:1 automatic brake winch and galvanized lift cable.
Intake
The auger intake, shielded for operator protection, has a long one-pin quick-remove clevis. Intake flight has new welded Wear Edge’ for long life with special low pitch for proven added capacity. Easily replaced. Greaseable Oilite bearing centers flight reducing vibration and wear.
Hubs & Wheels
Sturdy 6 bolt cast iron hubs with tapered roller bearings and heavy gauge 15” wheels, standard on 51’ to 71’ models. (4 bolt on 41’)
Track Shoe
Double 3” steel rollers (41’ has single roller) with oiled hardwood bearings for smooth easy raising. Runs on heavy angle track.
Hydraulic Lift
Dual 4 single acting lift cylinders have large cast iron cable sheaves with bronze bushings. Dual galvanized 5/16” aircraft type cables with total lift yield of 19,600 lbs.(on 51’ to 71’ models). Equipped with shut off valve.
Upper Drive
Large hardened steel sprockets, high speed roller chain and sealed ball bearings are sized to match this large auger. Lubricated upper drive adds years of life to the drive components.
EMD Drive -- Drive Options
41' model is available with a sturdy, underslung electric moter drive. Large triple-groove pulley and three belts are standard equipment.
PTO-SD -- Drive Options
Available on all models. Heavy duty gear box with forged steel gears and tapered roller bearings sized to match this high capacity auger. The PTO driveline on 51' to 71' models is equipped with shear bolt. Gear box can be flipped over for right or left side drive.
